The International Brotherhood of Police Officers has partnered up with Scenic City Multisport to bring the Chattanooga area a 1 mile Fuzz Run, a 5k and a 10k run.  We are hopeful that this race will not only be very fun and challenging but will also serve to build stronger relationships between the community and the local police departments.  The proceeds will go to help police officers further their education as well as give them more tools they need to do their jobs. 

The one mile Fuzz Run will begin and end at Coolidge Park while the 5k and 10k run will begin off of Cherokee Blvd. (the starting point will be announced at a later date).  They will go over the Market Street Bridge, make a pass by the Tennessee Aquarium and end up on the river walk.  The 5k will split off by Coolidge Park while the 10k goes a little farther but still finishes at Coolidge Park. 

Runners will have the option of getting a chip put on their ankle to be timed.  The names will be displayed on large flat screen TVs as the runners cross the finish line. There will also be prizes.
